How hard is it to migrate from my current booking system onto Booking Boss?

We provide data migration from your previous system to help you convert easily from another software product. We support your transition and each client situation is handled according to their data formats provided. The migration process includes migration of data, importation of previously issued tickets into the system and management of existing tour bookings so there is no interruption to business-as-usual. 

Will Booking Boss’ booking system look like my own website?

Yes. The Booking Boss booking software integrates seamlessly into your website via a hyperlink or widget.

How long will it take to get the booking system up and running on my website?

We are an end-to-end platform, so unlike many of our competitors, we do all of your set-up and training for you. We’ve had clients onboarded overnight, but if your product range is extensive it may take a little longer than that. More complex implementations take around two weeks. Implementation includes account set-up, creation of the check-out, set-up of all products on the system, website integration, initial training, then on-going training until you are ready to launch. 

What languages and currencies are supported by Booking Boss?

We support all currencies. Currently, the system is only available in English.

Is the Booking Boss payments system secure and safe for my customers to use?

Yes. All credit card payments are processed securely through a PCI compliant payment gateway and are passed through a secure server using the latest SSL encryption technology. Booking Boss do not store any credit card information on their servers which ensures all payment details are safe and secure. 

Do I need to take full payment at the time of booking?

Booking Boss gives you the flexibility to set a deposit so your customers are given the option to pay in full, pay a deposit and balance on the day, or pay total amount on the day. It’s your choice.

Can I use my current payment gateway to accept bookings?

Yes. Booking Boss is integrated via API with many major payment gateways allowing for secure and seamless payments on your website.

I don’t yet have a payment gateway. Can Booking Boss help me with this?

Of course. At Booking Boss we have built relationships and work closely with a number of payment gateways including;  PayPal, Braintree, SecurePay, Eway, CBA CommWeb, NAB Transact, DPS Payment Express and ANZ E-Gate. We can set you up with one that has incredibly low transaction fees, and what's more, we can get it up and running for you within 48 hours.

How long is the contract with Booking Boss? Am I tied in?

We love partnerships. We work with you to grow your business and to do that we both need to invest a bit of time. However, all contract lengths are negotiable so talk to us today and we can discuss the best option for your business. 

Are there any minimum system requirements for using Booking Boss?

All you need is a computer or mobile device and an internet connection. The Booking Boss administration area runs optimally in a Firefox/Chrome environment on Windows 7 or higher, and Mac OS X 10.6 or higher. 

Does Booking Boss offer implementation help? How does it work?

Booking Boss has industry-leading support. Our implementations are streamlined and are conducted by our own in-house staff, which gives us the opportunity to really understand your business and your needs. We help you set-up your account and give you training on how to best use the system in a way that is completely tailored to your business. Our support is on-going and you can contact us 24/7 for as long as you are on our platform. 

Will my business be interrupted by the Booking Boss implementation?

It’s business-as-usual even during implementation of the system. We help you throughout the process so the transition is seamless. All set-up, training and data migration is scheduled prior to launch and the system can be used immediately without any downtime.

Can I use Booking Boss to add booking buttons to my social media properties?

Yes you can! You can hyperlink your URL to anywhere you please, such as a Book Now button in Facebook. If you’re not sure how to do this, we’ll help you out. 

Who is Booking Boss most suited to?

Booking Boss’ software is most suited to those who want an easy, effective and reliable way to manage their tour, activities, classes and attractions businesses via one complete software solution. Booking Boss is designed specifically for tour operators, attractions, class and activity providers.

Who is Booking Boss not for?

We are not a hotel reservations system nor wholesale or travel agent booking system.

If I choose to move to another booking system, what happens to my data?

You will retain ownership of all data entered into your Booking Boss account, including reservation information, customer profiles and rate information. All data is exportable to CSV from your Booking Boss account in which no charge will be incurred.

How much does Booking Boss cost?
