As the Strategic Account Manager, you will represent our company and interact with key clients, which include major attractions, large tourism operators and family entertainment centres, located across the globe. If you have excellent communication and project management skills with a can-do customer service attitude, we would like to meet you.

 

The Role:

  • Build and develop longstanding client relationships with key contacts
  • Effectively manage all assigned clients throughout the course of their subscription
  • Negotiate and secure subscription renewals, with the goal of increasing seat numbers and subscription fees
  • Identify and execute upsell opportunities within existing client base
  • Constantly analyse usage reports for each client and liaise with key contacts to ensure maximum usage of the service
  • Meet with individual users of the service and conduct training on how to utilise the service to its maximum potential
  • Actively seek clients with up-sell opportunities, and provide these clients with valuable propositions to increase user numbers to help drive client revenue
  • Identify and resolve client issues
  • Work with the client services team to ensure that all clients are setup with a customised account
  • Manage key implementations and project plans
  • Other projects as directed from time to time
  • Availability to travel as needed

The Application System Administrator will embrace Booking Boss’s commitment to ensure users can access the platform without a glitch. As an Application System Administrator at Booking Boss, you will own and support the needs of the business critical services running on Booking Boss’s server infrastructure systems. You're highly technical and work directly with our development team to ensure reliability and sustainability of the Booking Boss service infrastructure as well as compliance with internal policies. You are able to support a variety of services in a mixed operating system environment and you will work efficiently with our internal technology providers as well as other operations groups.


From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Booking Boss platforms, this role makes Booking Boss’s product portfolio possible. This role is critical to keeping our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible. 

Responsibilities 

  • Support Booking Boss’s server and service environment.
  • Partner with internal teams to drive projects and improvements. Work with customer teams to drive project goals and prioritization.
  • Develop, coordinate and drive small projects at service level.
  • Ensure compliance of service infrastructure. Optimize existing environment based on business and security needs. Ensure the overall reliability and scalability of services that Booking Boss clients are dependent on.
  • Work with internal teams to collaborate on developing automated solutions.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Amazon Web Service qualified
  • Experience with mixed operating systems (e.g. Linux, Red Hat, Windows, Mac OS X, etc). Knowledge of OS internals (file systems, storage, process lifecycle, etc). Proficient with Unix or Windows server-management activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient with configuration management of application software for different operating system platforms.
  • Proficient in running and managing Java application middleware services such as WebLogic, Tomcat, and JBoss in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficient with blackbox and whitebox monitoring, and virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load balancing, workflow automation, security practices, web server software and LAN/WAN environments.
